Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral?

Referral requirements depend on your insurance plan. Contact your insurance company or our office if you are unsure.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Bring a photo ID, insurance card, medicine list, relevant records or imaging, and the shoes you wear most often. Completed forms can help save time.

Do you accept insurance?

We participate with many insurance plans. Participation and benefits can change, so please confirm your specific plan before the visit.

Do you offer self pay appointments?

Yes. We maintain self pay pricing for common visits, diagnostics, products, and procedures. Some treatment costs can only be confirmed after an examination.

Can X-rays be taken in the office?

Digital X-rays are available in the office when clinically appropriate. The number and type of views depend on the condition.

Will I receive treatment at the first visit?

Many problems can begin treatment at the first visit, but this depends on the diagnosis, health history, insurance requirements, and whether additional testing is needed.

When should I seek urgent care?

Seek prompt medical attention for a foot that becomes suddenly cold, pale, blue, numb, or severely painful. Other urgent concerns include an open fracture, uncontrolled bleeding, spreading infection, fever with a foot wound, a rapidly worsening diabetic foot problem, or an inability to bear weight after an injury.

Can I schedule for an ingrown toenail, wart, or medical pedicure?

Yes. Tell the scheduling team what you are experiencing so they can choose the appropriate visit type and time.
